Cowlitz-Wahkiakum Feeding Clinic

What is the Feeding Clinic?
The mission of the feeding team is to provide comprehensive evaluations, treatment plans, and follow-up for children whose feeding and nutrition pose concerns to family or other health care professionals.

Because feeding is such an integral part of daily life, the family, caregivers, and other health care professionals are involved in all aspects of assessment and planning.

The feeding team is also committed to working with community professionals who may already be involved with the child and family.

Who does the Feeding Clinic Serve?

    • Feeding skills, and
    • Mealtime behaviors
  • Children who are not growing adequately or whose parents are concerned about the adequacy of their diet.
  • Children with delayed feeding skills such as inadequate use of utensils, or difficulty in chewing textured food.
