TLC Outreach

“TLC Outreach” is a service of Progress Center’s that provides limited home visits to families with typically developing toddlers and infants under the age of three years.   Referrals come from agencies and clinics who serve infants and toddlers, though self-referring is encouraged.

Materials and education are provided to assist families in understanding brain development and how to provide an environment that promotes optimal development.  Developmental charts, developmentally appropriate activities, and the newest research on infant and toddler brain development are just some of the materials offered during a home visit.

All families are referred to the Tracking Learning Children (TLC) program as a way to partner with families in monitoring the development of their children up to age five.  Parents having concerns about their child’s development will be referred on for further screening by the Progress Center. Referrals can be made to other community resources as well.

Mission Statement "Progress Center, in collaboration with families and our community, provides early intervention
programs of education and therapy to children birth to three with special developmental needs.  We serve the community
with programs of child development, education and prevention that support all families to reach their full potential."
